The Woods Loke JLT is made up of a cross-section of pupils from our school. They meet regularly with the headteacher and deputy with a clear vision for bringing about changes that pupils at the school want to see. Have a look at the links below to find out more or - even better - come and visit us to see first-hand how Woods Loke Primary School children play a role in the school's development.

Eco Council
Our Eco-Council have been working closely with the local council to introduce new approaches to making our community a greener, safer, happier place to be. Our new recycling scheme, regular ‘walk to school’ initiatives and presentations help to keep the environment at the top of everyone’s agenda.
Digital Leaders
Our Digital Leaders are a group of Year Five children who meet weekly. The Digital Leaders take part in a nine week nationwide program run by Childnet. Once completed, they are fully trained in online safety. They act as role models for their peers on using the internet safely and provide advice for staying safe online as well as helping to teach online safety and raise awareness about internet safety across the school.
One member of our Digital Leaders acts as a representative on the school Junior Leadership Team.
School Council
Woods Loke School Council meet every Monday with Mrs.Barratt. Each class from year 2 upwards has a class representative. The school council are responsible for ensuring the children in their class have a voice and can offer opinions freely. They discuss anything that has been brought up by their respective classes and are also keen to represent the school well- engaging their peers by running termly competitions and fundraisers. They meet regularly with the governors to discuss our school and the improvements they would like to make. They are an amazing group of young children and Woods Loke is very proud to have such an active and committed school council!
