Person Specification: 

Essential

  • Full and relevant early years childcare qualification at Level 3 or equivalent 

  • At least 2 years experience working with 2-3 year olds

  • Knowledge of the new EYFS curriculum including delivery of 2 year progress checks

  • Experience documenting and assessing children’s learning and development

 

Desirable

  • Full and relevant early years childcare qualification at Level 4 or above

  • Open to opportunities to progress into a managerial role

  • Experience/ knowledge of in the moment planning (ITMP)

  • Interest in the Hygge approach and outdoor learning

  • Experience using Tapestry

Extended Schools Assistant

 

Hours: Casual (Core hours 3pm -5.45pm daily with the flexibility to cover breakfast and holiday clubs when required.)

 

Salary: Grade 2 (£18,158 Full time rate)

As an Extended Schools Assistant, you will work as part of a team in supervising children attending the after school club with the possibility of also working with either Breakfast or and Holiday Club; providing appropriate activities, encouraging cooperation, securing children's safety, monitoring wellbeing and ensuring good behaviour.

Midday Supervisor 

Woods Loke Primary School has openings for enthusiastic and reliable midday supervisors to work alongside a wonderful team. This role is crucial in helping make lunchtimes at our school an enjoyable and positive experience for all!

 

You will need to have a calm and positive manner with children and will assist in promoting positive behaviour,  providing support in the dining hall and always setting a good example for the children you are working with.
